Lazy Sunday

Sunday's for me are meant for church and bonding time with the family, at the same time it's one of those days when you just want to relax and have a chilled day out meaning church, lunch and coffee and maybe a movie to end the night. I wasn't suppose to take photos but when i saw this pile of woods stacked on top of each other i just cudnt resist but take photos, and amazingly i brought the SLR out for the day.

I decided to wear this black maxi dress which i folded the top part to make into a skirt and paired it with a chiffon top. If you noticed the top, it has these pink nylon ropes tied onto the straps because originally it has this weird U-shape design which looked very boring and somewhat common and since i wanted it to be squared and just to add a tad bit of interesting'ish flare to it, this is the outcome! As usual, I wore my Vivienne Westwood Glitter Heart Flipflops by Melissa. Honestly, i've been raping this flops almost everyday and plus it's one of my bestfriends when it comes to driving. Asides from my other melissa's (which i promise i'll try to post soon) they are the comfiest flip flops, sandals and wedges ever!!!!  =))) The belt, i've featured it once in one of my other post "Vintage Versace". While i kept my Accesories to a minimal with just a Hermes ClicClac.

If you notice i kind of have the same pose over and over again coz i thought the skirt would cover my Flipflops. Haha Yes, that's how obsessed i am with them that i wanted to share it with you guys.
At one point, I actually pulled up my skirt just for a clearer image of my flip flops. Haha sorry! i know it looks weird.

M.I.A

Hey everyone, Sorry!!!! i know i've gone MIA on you all for the past week. I've just been uber busy with different events and i haven't really found the time to go out and take vain pictures and blog. It just shows that i really do need to save up for a tab or ipad real soon!! How nice would that be!! Imagine just snapping away 'without editing" and posting in an instant! click click click!!

So forgive me for the lack of posting. Will post soon, i promise! But for now, even though i've been uber busy. In my subconcious mind, this is what i've been thinking and craving for my 3rd world country heat.
Summer all year round!

The stolen Kaftan

Most times i like planning what to wear, and most times my vavavooom planning usually hits when im in the shower. Asides from my "feeling" superstar singing, the second best thing I like to do is imagine how one top, shirt, shorts or whatever would fit another item in my closet. But sometimes there will always be that time in our lives when we would have those spontaneous dinner date and he would arrive any minute.

Usually at a time like this, my favorite thing to wear is a maxi dress and a Vivienne westwood Mellisa slippers for a boho feel. But then for some spasticated reason I decided to wear a printed kaftan "Mind you, I have never ever worn it because of it's size"! It's just super HUGE, not in length but by width. But  it can't be blamed though "I stole it from my brother and in my defense he would never ever wear such a thing". I find the print of it is amazingly awesome, Vibrant colors an has a Boho/Moses feel to it. But sometimes, despite the amazing print, if you don't know how to accessorize or wear it the way it should be then it can just crash and die. I feel like I wore this so wrong! and my favorite New York belt just made it way more ugly. Modern takes boho Moses look? Wrong way to go.

ShinyShimmerySplendid

T'was a saturday night and for a change it was date night with my Gay best friend. I cannot describe how much i love being around him because he's gestures are like a real man's man, but when he starts to speak all that cray cray gayness rushes out.

Since i was meeting him, wearing something Shiny Shimmery Splendid was just appropriate for our date. Burgundy top from Promod courtesy of my Mum, Dark jean shorts and my Zara combats. My first pick was to actually wear ankle booties which are "heeled", but my outfit ended up looking more of a "night out for drinks/clubbing" rather than just for a simple Japanese dinner and coffee. And plus Charles told me he was coming from his Law class, This was our conversation:

Me: Babe, My outfit feels like im going out clubbing.
Charles: SIS, I came from class and i super look casual with my pastel outfit.
Me: Ok good, Im coming in flats... but still using boots though.

So, it's getting quite obvious that i'm obsessed with boots. But i think alot of people would agree with me that it either tones down an outfit or makes it interesting.
You can check his blog here CATWALK
He just recently started bloggin, Just like me. So be kind!! <3 <3 <3
And here's what i do to my hair whenever it gets hot or annoyingly humid.
No bobby pins or anything, it's all in the Hair! Yes, even i get surprised when my hair obeys.

Every girl needs that LRD

Today i was called in for a Briefing for a modeling job which would be held next week. Since it's an event and not a photo shoot, most times we would need to provide our own clothes. They required us to have dresses, more of a Smart Casual attire and I apparently needed to have a Blue, black and red dress. I of all people do not live in a dress except if it is a maxi. So after my briefing, Mum and I headed off to the mall for some shopping!! (one of my so-called reasons why i allow myself to shop).

I won't be posting the dresses that i bought for now, but i just wanted to show you guys this amazing Little Red Dress that i managed to snap. I din't purchase it though because it had more of a party event feel to it.

I really do adore this Peplum dress, it reminded me of a TUTU/Mermaid dress yet its still a bodycon. The shape immediately caught my eye and once i wore it, it definitely showed off my not-so existent figure.
I also love a red dress with matching black lines and it definitely had that "omph" feel to it. For my Pinay readers, you can get this at The Ramp Trinoma.

Again, i'm sorry for the somewhat blurry pictures. I really do need to knock my head for always forgetting to carry around my "dslr" almost weighing a ton camera. Took this shots from that ever so popular Iphone.

My Lazy Monday

For 23 years of my life, i have never colored my hair. Not because it was something i din't want to do, well maybe 10% wanted, 50% i din't see the point and 40% my daddy would kill me. Apparently I was the lucky one amongst my sibling who managed to have the genes of the dark hazel ancestors (in pictures it isn't that obvious though). But through the many years I felt that my hair was boring, it was weighing me down and i was 80% close to cutting it and going for a bob like those models on Chanel runway autumn/winter 2012 collection. But then, i had to stop myself because my hair grows as slow as a turtle in a marathon. So on a lazy monday, after doing my usual errands i headed to the mall. Bought 2 boxes of REVLON 54 ColorSilk and headed to the color ladies. Honestly, the moment was nerve racking, and i was contemplating on whether i should go for it or not. Coz i imagine this whole scenario where it ends up crazy orange!!

Here's the outcome!

Before and after, I really planned on not wearing makeup coz i wanted to see how it would fit the color of my skin. Instantly when i saw my new locks it totally brightened up my face. First impression was, OHMYGOSH! Its so bright! Second impression, hmmm not bad! It went a bit brighter than I imagined, but the ladies said it was due to my original hair color. Blend Blend as they said.

The Fab ladies of Revlon!

And ofcourse, who can forget an outfit shot? I woke up feeling that i wanted something Flowy, nothing tight on the skin!! So I wore my nude'ish palazzo's, a fringed top and a vintage scarf for some colors which led me to say this is my Lazy Monday Outfit.

NightSky

For the past month, every Saturday mum, my sister and myself would allot a day to spend time together. Since we decided to head to High Street that night I wanted to dress down, Summer is here and the heat is taking a toll on us especially during the afternoon. Let's just say.. it gets craycray!! But then, even though it's hot I try to make sure that I have a light weight sweater when the sun goes down. That's another weird weather condition here. It sometimes gets ALOT cooler in some days, and then it starts to feel like I have no clothes on.

I wore a very floral top which I got at the uber popular Greenhills Shopping center, plus I got this for a deal since it was the last night of the tenant at the "Tiangge" area. (Means a indoor or outdoor of very cheap clothes, or anything of everything that your hearts desire) My pink sweater is from Giordano back home in BruneiLand. I actually tried looking for this in different colors over here, but never have I found them. White shorts from Tomato and my super raped New York belt and... Of course, another item which I will definitely rape is my Zara combats. Bag: Louis Vuitton

I love how people Mix and Match things from uber Cheap to Expensive. I believe that you don't have to wear designers from head to toe just to feel accepted. In the end of the day, acceptance starts from within.
